Intake & Exhaust Valve Mechanism
Valve Operation
 The cam gear is driven by the crankshaft via the crank gear and idle gear.
Two turns of the crank gear makes one turn of the cam gear.
When the high profile of the cam lobe pushes up the tappet, the valve is pushed down to open via the push rod and the rocker arm.When the tappet comes down on the low profile of the cam lobe, all valve pushing mechanism becomes loose and the valve is pulled up by the force of the valve spring to close. The intake and exhaust valves of respective cylinders are designed to open and close at specified intervals, which is called “Valve Timing
